About the Journal
The National Geographical Journal of India (NGJI) is the flagship journal of the National Geographical Society of India (Est. 1946). It is an international peer-reviewed, open access journal, published quarterly in March, June, September, and December since 1955. It publishes articles of geographical interests which deal with originality and critical appraisal of problems, review of the relevant and current literature, enhancement of geo-environmental knowledge and development of thought and related contemporary issues. All submitted papers are assessed by editors and expert referees. The journal is committed to abide by the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines and maintains the highest standards in publication ethics.
