Aims and Scope

The National Geographical Journal of India (NGJI) is the flagship journal of the National Geographical Society of India (Established 1946). It first came out in September 1955 and is currently in its 66th year of uniterrupted publication. It is an international peer-reviewed, open access journal, published quarterly in March, June, September, and December. It publishes articles of geographical interests which deal with originality and critical appraisal of problems, review of the relevant and current literature, enhancement of geo-environmental knowledge and development of thought and related contemporary issues.
